About Us
Marianne Braly Managing Director
Travel has been a high priority for
my family for generations. My grandparents used to regale us with stories about
their various trips to exotic places, so it seems only fitting that I ended up
as the owner of Now Voyager Travel. After more than 15 years as a travel consultant,
my slogan is “Any Vacation, Every Detail,” and I take that philosophy
to heart.
I look after my clients from the minute they leave the front door until
the moment they return from their trip. During our planning meetings, I ask open-ended
questions about their preferences, and I carefully listen to their answers. While
I’m happy to share my experiences with them, I always remember that this
is my client’s trip -- not mine -- and the end goal is to match the itinerary
perfectly with the individual.
I arm my clients with knowledge ahead of time so that they’re not afraid
of the unknown. I tell them exactly how to handle the challenges of travel,
from using the self-service check-in kiosk at the airport to knowing which bus
to take where. When they return from their vacation, it’s important for
me to hear about the trip so that I can broaden my knowledge and refine my skills.
Passionate about Mexico, I’m proud to have been named Travel + Leisure
Magazine’s Mexico Expert for six years running. I’m particularly
fascinated by Colonial Mexico, and on each trip I meet with local folk artists
and collect their works. When clients ask me about Mexico, I try to help them
understand the full picture; the cuisine is so much more diverse than just tacos,
for instance, and the accommodations go far beyond beach resorts. I’m
equally enamored of Paris, knowing it well enough to provide important tips
for getting around, whether it’s ordering coffee the right way or picking
the best times to visit key attractions.

Lisa Arens Travel Consultant
Traveling has been my passion for as long as I can remember. My childhood was spent travelling the US with my family and by 1995 I had been to all 50 states. As much as I loved travelling throughout the US, my desire to travel expanded to include more exotic locales. After completing a 9 month travel course, I began working as a travel agent. After 15 years as an agent, my love for new places continues to grow. I continue to expand my knowledge by travelling as much as possible and completing destination specialist courses. I enjoy dreaming up the most amazing trips for my clients, especially Europe, Asia, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Whether I'm relaxing on a beach, or exploring an historical city, my love for travel reaches around the globe.

After high school, I attended CSULB, and worked at a water park as a lifeguard. After a few years I was ready for a change. A friend was spending her summer at a travel agency as a receptionist and suggested I take her place. I applied for the job, was offered a travel agent position, and was immediately hooked on the travel industry. I love recommending that perfect desitnation for my clients, and having them return with as much love for it as I do. I have gained travel knowledge by visiting Hawaii, Mexico, Tahiti, and the Caribbean, and completing over 55 destination specialist programs. My favorite destinations to sell are the Caribbean Islands and Mexico. The warm tropical breezes, lush exotic aurroundings, clear warm blue water, and laid-back island style are the ingredients for my perfect vacation. I sell all sorts of travel, but planning honeymoons is my passion. Travel is so exciting and ever-changing, I can't imagine doing anything else.
